Maija and her friend Inari Y. were ''''''''working'''''''' in Siikaneva yesterday. I got the chance to see [experience] the most beautiful pristine peatland area in Finland. It is indeed a pearl. Islands of forest surrounded by mire that looked so 'whole', old-growth forest with huge pines, lots of dead trees [which give these forests a very different feeling then managed forests!], ...
