light at the end of the tunnelbanan

The Swedes can be very reserved. I always had a hard time with that. Can't really make the right connections in my brain. Taking their somewhat cold attitude personal. Mr. Miyagi always has been friendly. And that meant a lot.

umeå revisited

My old room turned into a natural history museum. WTF! : )

F#ck, we barbecued our asses of at this place. Just memories now. Bit hard to realize. Not that my time in Umeå was the happiest time of my life.

Bit cheesy to take a picture of this tree, it's the first thing you see when leaving the boat, but I thought it was a beautiful sight, such an old tree i an urban environment. Makes me wanna listen to J. Cash.... a lot.... :-)

Roamed the city for some hours. Checked out locations in Stieg Larsson's übergood Millennium trilogy. And later slowly lowered myself in Eriksdalsbadet. Instead of jumping into the deep..... A huge-ass bummer. Two closed diving towers. Wonder if any swimming pool in the world can sink any lower than that. Only possible in Sweden. Hard to find your way here sometimes, in a forest of command and prohibition signs.
